StartegyFirst is firing up the PR engine for Disciples 2 - Dark Prophecy. Today, there is a preview at Gamezilla. As usual, we quote an interesting bit here, this time about graphics:

The general graphics in the game are good, in line with the very similar appearance of the Warcraft and Age of Empires series. The landscapes and structures are well designed and adequately detailed and the various scenery attractively done, adding to the enjoyment of traversing through the world. Character images are very artistic and have a Japanese animation feel to them, which fans of that style may find very appealing. At this time, several of the characters, mostly a number of the enemy forces, share the same image which is being addressed for the final release. The battle animations are definitely enjoyable, if not overly complex, and give more sense of excitement to the sometimes dull turn-based combat style. The various spells had good, if brief, visuals, giving a little eye candy to those who want it, but not going overboard. There was no unnecessary gore and the game, though not yet rated, should be playable for younger audiences while also entertaining for the older set.
