Undecided if you should buy Disciples 2: Guardians of the Light? The review at Gamer's Pulse might help you. They call the expansion a "must have" and come to this conclusion:
Aside from a couple of small gameplay mechanics issues, Disciples II is an outstanding game. I was particularly impressed with the polished depth and quality combined with the relatively low system requirements. That is a rarity these days. It’s refreshingly difficult, addictive, and innovative and works well in the turn based environment (long live the turn based strategy game!). As an expansion, GotL is rather weak. They didn’t add or improve that many things. However, if you’ve never played Disciples II before, you should definitely pick it up. It’s a great way to get the original game and some extra levels at a bargain price.
