With a rating of 5.5 out of 10, you can't say that Gamitopia fell in love with Kingdom under Fire during their review. Here's something that could be taken as a summary:
While Kingdom Under Fire isn't all too original, I did enjoy it for at least the first few missions before I got bored and tired. However, the major design flaws of the game, such as not being able to save during combat, weak AI, crashes at different points of the game, simplistic pathfinding , and other things really prevented the game from being as good as it could have been. Some of these issues have been addressed by patches but the game shouldn't have been this buggy in the first place, especially when so much testing was done with the game). If you're looking for a game with the same kind of gameplay as WarCraft II with a pinch of Diablo then this might be interesting for you, otherwise I suggest you just walk on by if you see this on the shelf. |
