RPG Vault talks to Codemasters' Tim Hodges about the races in Archlord:Jonric: What are the three races? Overall, how do they differ from one another? What kind of player and play style fits well with each?
Tim 'Ktat' Hodges: The three playable races are Humans, Orcs and Moon Elfs. Each race has certain natural attributes that see them differ from one another. Orcs, for example, have a natural tendency towards conflict; this provides them with a strength buff when engaged in combat.
Each race's talents are also reflected in the classes that they have available to them within the game. The most significant differences come from the classes within each race. I'll go on to talk about these in a little bit; suffice to say players will want to spend a little time looking at their characters before they commit to them in order to get one that really suits them. |
