NW Vault has posted it's first review of a NWN persistent world - 'Ruin Valor - Legacy to Come...'. The article is very positive with a final score of 8/10. Here's a snippet:
In the end. Ruin Valor is really a very promising persistent world. It started at a great level, both on gameplay standards and technical features, but it's still a young World and needs to be shaped better. This may be a problem or a point of interest: it depends on what are you looking for in your multiplayer gaming experience. For sure if you are not interested in roleplaying, do not even try it. If you do not have much time to spend online and you prefer an easy and tested server perhaps you can find something more immediate. If you pursue the hardest of duels and you want PermaDeath, all HCR rules and a totally immersive experience, this will lack something for you. But if you really want to make your own place in an accurate, interesting and original PW, perhaps Ruin Valor is what you are looking for. A young world gives you the great experience of contributing directly to its realization, of being strongly involved in a small but friendly community where you can leave your sign.
