Clyde Bielss, CEO of MindSurge Entertainment and Lead Art Director and Team Coordinator for FreeWorld has been interviewed at FileFront. Here's a snip:
Q: The MMO genre is really getting jam-packed with all sorts of different titles right now, what makes FW different from a lot of the other games on the MMO shelves right now?

A: One of the biggest things that make us stand out is the community and how the development team interacts with our testers. We are not a corporate monster pressing forward for the old mighty dollar. We are gamers making a game for gamers. The thoughts and opinions of our community have a huge impact on the game and we take the time to listen to what people want. If you’re testing a lot of the games out there you will be lucky to see a developer playing the game that will take the time to listen to an idea you have. We make a point of going out of our way to be as big of a part of our community as everyone else playing the game. MMORPG are about people wanting to be part of a group and forming life time bonds with people from all over the world and we want to be a part of that. There has been many times that we have spent weeks working on a new feature and then when it goes live we take a few more days changing it to fit the way the players would like to see it work. We do understand that we can not make everyone happy and will not have the time to personally greet everyone into FreeWorld, but we do make a huge effort to do this and I'm sure if you come and test the game with us you will see that right off the bat.
