Gamer's Pulse awarded 'Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II' for Playstation 2 a score of 43/50 in their review.
When referring to console-style role-playing games, the name Dungeons and Dragons doesn’t exactly come up. Two years ago, the release of an adapted version of the popular franchise on the Playstation 2 sparked immediate skepticism and worry about the state of PC-to-console role-playing games. Ironically enough, the original Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance title met with great critical and decent commercial success; consequently, the concept of a sequel sees fruition in Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance II. Taking elements from both PC- and console-style role-playing, Dark Alliance II offers streamlined role-playing with a new story that establishes it as the best example of transition between platforms.
