The first newsbit today (and # 11813 in our database - gosh, have we been that busy?) is about two reviews of Icewind Dale that popped up. The first one is at Elited.net. The short review rates the game 86% and comes to this conclusion:
Many improvements are seen in IWD2 over its predecessor. Being a D&D RPG game, the replayability is continuous. The rules were not that hard to learn, especially since the game takes care of this for you. Black Isle is commended for their continuous efforts of bring role-playing ectasy to the gaming community. review number two can be found at GameGuru Mania. This one isn't longer either, and the rating is 80%. Their summary:
Like its predecessor, Icewind Dale II is simply a great role-playing game, good follow-up game of Icewind Dale series, and also good last game to close the saga of 2D graphics. This game will keep you playing in your room for _LONG_ hours, so I would highly recommend it to any RPG or D&D lover. |
