(PC: Single-Player RPG) | Posted by Garrett @ Saturday - September 01, 2001 - 03:02 - Top | Game Info | Rate this game | Homepage | Screenshots Despite the fact, that Piranha Bytes declined Gothic being released through JoWood, JoWood's release list shows Gothic to hit stores worldwide in Q4 2001, which is also confirmed by JoWood's boards admin Teut, whose German post means the following in English: The only thing Gothic lacked was a publisher, which has been found in JoWood and the title will be released very soon. Because the deal is only a few days old, please give our marketing dep a little time to prepare everything. JoWood will publish 9 Piranha Bytes titles worldwide, but Gothic wasn't included at first, because the publishing rights for that one reside(d) at Egmont Interactive - that seems to have changed now.
