Here's a bit from the press release: The end of phase 2 is looming. The servers will be taken down at 3:00 AM Denver, Colorado time on Tuesday the 4th of September. At that time, the closed beta forums will also be removed. So, spend the weekend playing and get your feedback in ASAP! Beta 3 launches on September 14th. 50,000 copies of beta 3 will be distributed through the following local retail outlets: Best Buy, CompUSA, Fry’s Electronics, Electronics Boutique, Electronics Boutique Canada, Future Shop (Canada), Gamestop, Babbage’s, Software Etc., Chips and Bits (e-tailer), Compucenter, CompuSmart, and Media Play. Beta 3 will end on October 4th so don’t wait to visit your local retailer and grab a copy!
