Youxiland and Gamasoft have borrowed some concepts from classics of yesteryear and taken them in a new direction: an MMO. Risk Your Life: Path of the Emperor is an MMO that could have easily fallen into the pit of MMO despair, but with some fun twists, Planetwide may have an old school hit on their hands. It has the traditional create a character and beat things with various forms of a stick formula down pat, but the developers knew that wouldn't be enough to make the game successful. They enveloped the game in features like a Diablo style skill system based on books, and the gems and sockets of a similar game. Using tweaks like these and several others, Planetwide has found itself a gem of their own that could easily become a fun, action-filled alternative to the big guns on the market now.
