Time to mount up and mosey on over to the Adrenaline Vault and check out their latest Preview/Interview with Aidan Scanian - Senior Designer, and Sheldon Carter - Assistant Producer of Jade Empire...

This year, I was lucky enough to get an appointment at the BioWare meeting area, situated in a small enclosed room shielded somewhat from the loud, flashy spectacle of the rest of West Hall. BioWare was showing three upcoming releases. Jade Empire, the game I’d come to see, was being demonstrated on an Xbox in front of a few couches, giving the place a nice living room feel. Jade Empire is an action-RPG set in a world inspired by myths and legends from ancient China. They were also showing Dragon Age, a fantasy RPG set in an original universe created by BioWare. It’ll have party-based tactical combat, multiplayer modes, a brand new engine and mod tools for creating custom content. The last being offered was The Witcher, an action-RPG being developed by Poland-based CDProjekt using BioWare’s Aurora engine. I didn’t see The Witcher, as this was in a curtained off area. (A closed-off area inside a closed-off area!)
