There's a preview of Divine Divinity at Video Game News today, having a closer look at Larian Studio's upcoming RPG. It seems to be based on the demo. Here's a bit:
The game has a very easy-to-use interface that replicates the ones in games like Diablo and Baldur’s Gate. There is no learning curve to playing this game, which is surprising given the detail and speaking of which, there is a lot of detail here. There will be over 100 enemies including a dragon, zombies, dwarves, orcs and other fantasy favorites all with some serious intelligence. For example attack a lonely creature you find in the Catacombs may be easy to kill but if they call for help be ready for a full-scale war. Their buddies will come running. The use of the ¾ top down view makes seeing everything on screen easy. The graphics are a bit dark at the moment so you might need to turn up the brightness on your monitor but that’s the only complaint. Otherwise the graphics are very smooth and crisp. The sounds and music are great too. For a demo they really let you get a great taste of how the game should be.
