4Player's.de's own "Marcel" directs this rather delightful discourse with Nevrax's Technical Director & Producer, Daniel Miller, re Ryzom: The Ryzom Ring...

4Players: What do you think is the secret that makes The Ryzom Ring special?

DM: The Ryzom Ring is all about giving power to the players. There's no other MMO out there that lets players design and run their own adventures or run their own territories annexed to the main game world. The Ryzom Ring is unique and, we think, very exciting, as it paves the way for a completely new branch in the MMO genre.

4Players: Is it possible for gamers to create anything he or she imagines (e.g. a Starship Troopers scenario with lots of bugs (in the form of insects))?

DM: The Ryzom Ring provides a great deal of freedom within the confines of the landscapes and bestiary of Atys. Ryzom's bestiary contains a wide variety of hostile giant insect-like creatures called Kitins, so it's absolutely possible to put together a Starship Trooper-like assault scenario with wave after wave of incoming bugs if one so-pleases.

Of course, for those of you who may desire something rather lingually different, there is always the above interview in a French or a German flavor!!
