Access Gamer has a review of 'Final Fantasy XI'. The score is 7/10 and here's a snip:
Final Fantasy, a series endowed with prestige and respect by its gaming inhabitants, has evolved from its subtle yet sophisticated state, into a deep and captivating existence. Square Enix should be given a lot of credit. They have proven they are willing to take risks and try new things, even if it means breaking Square traditions. Nevertheless, Square Enix delivered big time when Final Fantasy XI hit the shelves. No one was ready for the unfathomable complexity of this game. However, Final Fantasy XI (FFXI) is not perfect. As we dig deeper into the framework of FFXI, this faint, but potentially fatal flaw will become evident.
