And then Adventure Europe's incomparable Dimitris Manos and gang have also just released this rather informative and highly interesting interview re Awe Games' classic Agatha Christie thriller, "And Then There Were None"...

First of all could you introduce yourselves for our readers?

My name is Scott Nixon, and I was the project director for And Then There Were None.

Do you play adventure games yourselves? If you do, could you mention some of you favourite ones?

I’ve played adventure games since the TRS-80... Colossal Cave, Asylum, etc. My favorites would have to be the original Space Quest, Grim Fandango, Day of the Tentacle, and, if we can include the text-based sub-genre, Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and Lurking Horror. I would probably play adventure games exclusively, if only there were more of them.

And Then There Were None was the first adventure title you have produced so far. How did this come about? Did you approach TAC or did TAC approach you?

Actually, Employee of the Month was an adventure title by whatever criteria you choose, and so was the SpongeBob SquarePants Movie Game. They may not resonate with adventure purists, but they were indeed adventure games. Several of us here are adventure game aficionados and mystery buffs, so when we heard the Agatha Christie license was being shopped by TAC to developers, we quickly threw together a demo to express our interest. We met with them, and luckily they ended up going with us. We were thrilled, naturally.

If you are having trouble with the link, then please see the Editor Note re today's newsbit on "Stargate" and remember - registration at Adventure Europe is both free...and easy!!
