Best RPG ever.
The only thing that comes close is the Gothic series.
Gothic has full voice acting on every line of dialogue, and Morrowind has amazing freedom and interactivity.
I don't need to say anything about the game, if you haven't played it do so now!! |

EverQuest 2: 9/10 points |
EQ2 (as of April 2006) has much more to offer than it's chief competitors Wow and COV if you can get past it's poorly documented design changes.
EQ2 at launch had tons of great content buried beneath poorly implemented features. I gave it a 6 out of 10 then. Now they've fixed most of that, using ideas from World of Warcraft and City of Heroes.
They will be redoing the tradeskill system to make it less tedious, but it's already more rewarding than Wow.
I am continually finding amazing new things about the game.
Worth a try, and worth coming back to if you didn't like it before.

I loved Gothic 1 and gave it a rating of 10 despite it's bugs.
Gothic 2 I rate a 9.
It's basically the same game with some graphic improvements and less bugs than the first but there are a few things about it I like a tad less than the first installment.
In Gothic 1 there were several steps to crafting weapons. In Gothic 2 they've cut it down to 2 steps. I liked it better the old way.
They have added some new crafts though which is nice.
I still don't like the combat focus. I'd rather aim on my own. Item focus is fine the way it is however.
Once again they only have about 6 voice actors for the english version. I think they should let us fans do voice acting for them to add diversity to the game. We'd do it for free too!
The Gothic series is my second favorite RPG series next to Morrowind.

I didnt give this game a 10/10 because its free like the rest, but because the devs actualy listen to you and change things depending on what is said. This game is currently my favorite game of all time (and ive played just about every mmog/ps2 game so far). Unlike EverQuest and its multiple clones, this game doesnt limit you, the skys the limit! If you want, your ugly "master of the sword" ogre can learn to cast spells effetiantly, your evil necromance can learn the art of healing and revival, etc. With over 100 proffesions and 7 races, this games a winner, with the best community Ive ever seen to boot!
note: please this game is played by all ages from 9 to 50+, this is not the type of game for mindless cursing 14 year olds. This game actualy makes you THINK!!! we already have enough mouthers around even with violaters being banned. |

Like Diablo series, it is fast action with light rpg elements.
Too fast paced mindless killing of a zillion enemies for me. Might as well go play doom. |
