The State of MMO Gaming @ ActionTrip

What starts out as a rant about the level of intelligence (or lack thereof) of your average MMO gamer and their level (and definitely not lack of) addiction, ends up in a very nice and informative listing/analysis of upcoming MMO(RPG)s. Check it out right here.
This article, however, is not about World of Warcraft, or Guild Wars. At this point, there are hundreds of thousands of people playing these two games and each week. They are topping the PC games sales charts on almost all continents. This article is about the future - not the futures of these two franchises, mind you - but the future of the genre itself (providing we consider Guild Wars to be an MMOG). At some point you're gonna stop being addicted to either one of these games and you'll want to do the old "substitution" routine. You'll want to move on and get yourself immersed in a new and exciting MMOG world. So what's out there on the horizon for we MMOG junkies? I've took the time to round up all the possible MMOG hits that are slated to come out by the end of 2006, and present them in their projected release date order.
