Cosmo Gaming's Chris Dahlberg interviews Agustin Cordes and Alejandro Graziani, developers of the upcoming mystery adventure, Scratches.
Give us some information on the back story of the game, where will players be exploring and who will they be playing as?
You take the role of Michael Arthate, a horror writer, who is just moving to an imposing Victorian mansion set in the outskirts of an English rural town to finish his new book. We’ll eventually find out Michael feels very pressured about this and begins seeking inspiration in the wrong places. Sounds cliché? Well, that’s the point really as Scratches will somewhat play like a tribute to old horror movies. But that description of the story is merely scratching the surface (yes, pun intended) and when the surprises strike, they strike hard! There’s one important subject we haven’t mentioned yet, but hinted at, that will play a prominent role in the story.
Among the places you will visit are, besides the three-stories mansion, a greenhouse, a crypt and a chapel. You also have a huge garden, offering unparalleled views of dead trees and menacing skies. The howling winds will definitely be a plus! | Source: Blues |
