It gives you an overview about manufacturing and dismantling: When a person walks up to a terminal and touches the manufacturing screen, a fingerprint recognition sequence is activated and all of that individual's recipes are uploaded for use. Now a person can select a recipe from the menu. The terminal will automatically scan their cargo hold to see if they have the appropriate components and these will be highlighted in the component screen of the terminal. If all of the necessary components are stored in the ship's hull, the manufacturing terminal will transport these items into the system and assemble them into the requisite item once the user touches the manufacture button.
