I have heard that there was much more action earlier on as lot of so called bad people left (not sure if was of their own accord or not). However, game is still enjoyable and you can pretty much do whatever you want as long as you are willing to face the consequences of your actions like in real life. Major gripes are screen size is too small as can not see everyone in room and sex is cheesy looking (actually find it more humorous than sexy). But role playing is at premium for game developed by basically one person and anyone into that will love the game play and conversation. Am looking forward to Socio 2 and will keep playing until then.
