And to be complete here is the official press release also:

LARIAN OFFER HOT DATES

365 of them, to be exact, as Beyond Divinity Website goes festive with a host of downloadable goodies.

24th December 2003: With money tight at this time of year, it’s always nice to get something for nothing. Not content simply to be publishing one of the best RPG’s for some time, Larian are aiming to make it an even happier new year – by offering a host of downloadable goodies for its first 2004 release from its recently-revamped Website.

Located at www.beyond-divinity.com, the newly unveiled boxshot is accompanied by new exclusive Beyond Divinity goodies. Alongside a beautiful Beyond Divinity 2004 calendar, Larian have created a special ‘fansite’ kit which allows anyone to host a Beyond Divinity Website.

Beyond Divinity is the follow-up to 2002’s highly-rated RPG Divine Divinity. Due for release in March 2004, the game is set within the Divine Divinity universe and features a deep and detailed storyline filled with plot twists and optional sub-quests. Yet despite its intricacies, Beyond Divinity is an accessible RPG which hand-holds novices through the early stages – although experienced adventurers can zip off at a pace of their choosing. A unique summoning doll adds a fresh element to the game, and with total party control, players can experience a level of interaction and adventuring unlike those seen before. Additionally, Beyond Divinity boasts endless replay value through its unique battlefield generator.

“The game is very much a labour of love for Larian,” says Swen Vincke, project leader, Larian Studios, “and I think this is no more evident than in the way we have given a little back to the community with this calendar and fan site kit. Like the original game, we expect a hardcore audience of real fans to develop very quickly – and with the assets and tools available on this site, they will be able to spread the Divinity love across the world.”

Beyond Divinity will be available for PC CD-ROM in March 2004. The game is a full price game and Larian has secured individual publishing rights with a number of top publishers worldwide.
