Corax from EDBIS sent us a note regarding their review of BioWare's/LucasArts' single player RPG 'Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic' a little earlier today. They awarded the game a score of 88%.
The eye candy is very impressive and it is scalable in case you don't have that high in uber computer. There are plenty of different landscapes one can visit. There are lush forests, scorching deserts, and the deep cold of space. New locales to visit that aren't in the X-Box version such as the Space Station at Yavin. It is a visually impressive game that I have one minor quirk, the skies. The skies are very cool but there is no day or night cycles or even weather. This really hurts the immersion factor of the game, but only a little. The style of the game is very cinematic and given its origins that is to be expected. It is well constructed as such from the beginning of the game with the opening movie sequence throughout the game with top notch voice acting, sound effects, and a great musical score. It actually has the feel of a good Star Wars film, not that prequel garbage and Bioware deserve a good round of applause for that.
