BioWare's Jade Empire is quite possibly the most anticipated Xbox game of 2005, so as soon as I heard that there was a chance to see it at their Edmonton studio, I knew I had to find a way to go. Thankfully, the planets were aligned in my favor, and I found myself sitting on a plane on Tuesday, dreaming of the sights I'd see. On Wednesday morning, my fellow game journalists and I sat in BioWare's auditorium listening to a presentation by Joint CEOs Dr. Ray Muzyka and Dr. Greg Zeschuk, but although I was taking notes and listening to their speech, my mind was elsewhere. It was in the Empire, but it wasn't until the afternoon that my group finally got a chance to sit down in the demo room.
