Diablo: 10/10 points |
Repetative? Perhaps, and the graphics and gameplay are old and surely dated. However, if you remember this game when it first appeared, it was awesome. Great graphics, sound track, and this game spawned a whole new genre of games (Baldurs Gate, Icewind Dale, Sacred, Dungeon Siege and so many many more I cannot name). Truely a classic that had a huge impact on modern gaming. |
Diablo 2 - Lord of Destruction: 10/10 points |
Wonderful theme (Heaven vs. Hell, one of my favorites). Horribly addictive, with that temptation of getting a Godly item drop, although this can be somewhat repetative (like killing Diablo 1000 times). All in all, I love the game, and the expansion is a wonderful add-on. They should make a new patch however, one to help fight the addictiveness. |
Final Fantasy XI: 8/10 points |
My only dislike, is a slow leveling system and the difficulty of progressing while playing solo. However, this game has a vastly huge and stunning world to travel through. Fun quests/missions, and characters can change between different classes (for those of you who remember Final Fantasy V for SNES) such as Monk, Dragoon, Dark Knight, etc. With so many things to do you will spend hours and hours Fighting monsters, fishing, crafting, setting up "shops" and so much more.
Easily my favorite MMORPG to date. |
Sacred: 9/10 points |
With the beautiful graphics and addictive gameplay alone I could rate this a 10, but due to a few weird bugs remaining in the game (though most were fixed with the recent patches and expansion). Pretty average story-line, but the character classes, skills and the similarities to Diablo make this game very fun. |
