Very pretty, well thought out, but needs one or two tweaks to be a classic (for example, there is no active pause mode). |

nice try but the game isn't worthy.
Lots of thing bugs me about the game and I won't list them all here. Let's just say what is important. It is a very nice (in the "looking good" way) game and it is very stable on my computer. I played for 10 hours or so and probably won't play anymore...never again.
What bugs me the most is that this game is unfinished. Sometimes, I think I bought a Beta game ! English voices sound way too german. English subtitles aren't always in English !?!?!? The story isn't interesting. THe interface is nice but not practical. Tutorial takes hours and there is no way to speed it up. etc..
But it is a very nice game. I will probably download a demo of Spellforce 3 before buying it though....If there is a Spellforce 3.

I really like this game. But it is too long:-) I played it for several months but not disappointed because of the lost time. The gameplay is very interesting. |

This one caught me off guard.I read a review from a website I trusted and gave it a shot,this one has me hooked,first rate all the way.Very good graphics,good sound,good interface and for me,a perfect blend of RPG and RTS.
I haven't been bored once in this game and for a RTS game that says a lot
Lately it's been the European games that have sparked my interest the most(Spellforce,Gothic I,II,Divine Divinity)Ihope these games keep making their way into Canada.

I was sceptical first, because people said its an RTS with RPG elements. But found that I can play it as an RPG with RTS elements - and loved it. It belongs in the same rank as Planescape, Fallout, BG, KOTOR, Morrowind, Gothic (I love them all). Played it and all of the extensions about three times. |
