There's a new Freedom Foorce Interview with the guys at Irrational Games at RPGVault. One question( "Which hero character in Freedom Force is your personal favorite, and why? Is this also the character you play most frequently when you're testing?") answered by a bunch of people, like these ones:
Ed Orman
Bullet - Great accent, and a good all-round fighter. He might not do the most damage with his punches, but he gets more in per second than any other character, which keeps the villains out of action longer. Plus he can be involved in combat in three different places at once, he's THAT FAST!
Jonathan Pelling
I would have to say Alche-Miss is my favourite, though ManBot and weenie Liberty Lad come close behind. However, Alche-Miss' powers are a nice blend of tactics and plain fun that make her stand out for me.
Ben Hutchings
I judge all characters from an animation point of view primarily, so the Bullet is my favourite. He has a couple of nifty melee attacks which involve a stream of incredibly fast punches. Placing him in front of a villain and then letting him pulverize the poor guy with a barrage of hooks and jabs is very satisfying. His alter ego is Clint Coltrane who has a similar set of moves but sports a pair of fetching shades.
I tweak almost all the characters every few days so there's no one character I test more than others. |
