Outdoor terrain can be modified or created from scratch as well. You can raise and lower the terrain, re-texture it, drop in all manner of decorations from skeletal tree trunks to daedra ruins to blooming flowers to water. You can also determine the weather patterns, create monster encounters that are automatically adjusted for the level of the player, and decide whether the player can sleep in the area or not.
When it comes to NPC encounters, you can fine-tune every aspect of an individual NPC, from their greetings and attitude toward the player, to their stats and abilities, to their ambient actions. They can assign you quests, attack you on sight, be overjoyed to see you again, or give you the cold shoulder. It's all up to your whims. |
