The next review of Grandia 2 for PC is online now at GamePen. Their verdict is slighty positive, with a rating of 3.5/5 stars. Here's their conclusion:
Grandia 2 would be a great RPG on a console system.  With its engrossing story and characters, its fun battle system and its overall pleasing style, it can keep players engrossed for the entire ride.  However, the game faces some different comparisons when brought over to the PC arena.  An incredibly linear story, limited save points, and slightly behind-the-curve graphics move Grandia 2 as a PC RPG to the category of merely “pretty good”.  Bottom line: if you really like console-style RPGs, Grandia 2 will certainly keep you amused.  Those wanting something to top the list of the best PC RPGs, though, would be advised to look somewhere else.
