Gone Gold has posted up some first impressions of Sir Tech's just released 1st person fantasy RPG Wizardry 8. The article goes into detail on the topics of install, manual and the game itself.

Here's a snip from the game part:
Once you have your party ready, select the level of difficulty and you start off on your adventure and most will start off at the same place as the demo. (The manual says if you're importing your characters, where you start the game depends on what you did in the last game.) The level of difficulty can be changed at any time during the game, so if you find it a bit too hard on "normal" or "expert", you can bump it down. There's an "Iron man" level of play as well, which only allows for saving when exiting the game. Yikes... imagine getting all the way through on one save and having the file get corrupted near the end? Talk about having tears in your eyes. ;)

All in all, this is a must have for any RPG fan. Those that might be thinking of getting into RPG's should feel free to pick it up as well, since the game offers itself to new comers as well as veterans. Kudos Sir-Tech.
