RPGDot Game Rating Machine

polonius has rated the following games:

Divine Divinity: 10/10 points

A wonderful game that takes from the best RPGs ever mad and combines to be more than the sum of its parts.

Fallout - A Post Nuclear Adventure: 9/10 points

An excellent game. The special character system is great, as is the turnbased combat. A great setting. It is a bit short though.

Jagged Alliance 2: 10/10 points

This really is an RPG, and I'm sick of those who say it isn't because of the tactical combat. You want story, its there, interactive NPC yes, side quests yes, stats and weapons yup. Its all there. Its as good as fallout with better graphics and the great merc personalities.

Planescape: Torment: 10/10 points

A wonderful game with a great complex story. The graphics and combat are much better than any other Infinity engine games, and the characters have great personality. Excellent

Realms of Arkania 2 - Star Trail: 10/10 points

Truly a great RPG from one of the best, and overlooked series ever. It has some faults with too many stats, but its still fun and has excellent atmosphere, a huge interesting world and great NPCs. The translation from German is good enough and the few gramatical errors actually become part of the game after a while. The best part, however, is the great combat system. The isometric turn based combat in an otherwise 3D RPG was a great move. Combat was fun and strategic as it should be. Excellent game that everyone should play.

Realms of Arkania 3 - Shadows over Riva: 10/10 points

Though the setting is a bit dissapointing after star trail, the game still has all the qualities that made the other so great. The only, minor flaw is that it doesn't always feel as epic.

Wizardry 1 - Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord: 10/10 points

OK, I'll admit the score for this one is based as much on nostalgia and its influence as by how good it is, but is still playable and an essential piece of RPG history.

Wizardry 6 - Bane of the Cosmic Forge: 9/10 points

A wonderful game, almost as good as wiz 7. The story is just as interesting and once you get used to mapping this game is a load of fun. The only problem is that it occasionaly feels a bit linear.

Wizardry 7 - Crusader of the Dark Savant: 10/10 points

This is a wonderful game. Despite its age it looks good enough to be playable and has a great story and a wonderful character system. Lots of fun. A true classic

Wizardry 8: 10/10 points

A wonderful game with beautiful graphics and the great story and personality of previous wizardrys. The combat takes some getting used to but is not as bad as it seems.
