So far I’ve been really impressed by Ryzom, which has had a better launch than other MMORPGs I can think of. I particularly like the powerful and unfussy interface and am looking forward to the addition of Arve Lagim’s music and the upcoming events. Player progress is also driven by quest-based Encyclopaedia and of course the potential to purchase a mount and explore the vast world of Atys. For me there’s still a lot more to see and do, but with a long-term story and many future additions planned, I can happily say that playing the game has so far been a breath of fresh air.
