+
- really good story
- perfect character development
- good interaction with NPCs
- really good tactical fights
- nice magics system
- huge world
- long gameplay

-
- not perfect (but still good enough) graphics

But I still must vote "if you are into RPGs", because this is quit complex and not very easy game.
But it was my firts RPG and it change FPSs lover to RPGs lover.

P. S.: I deleted your "not correct" POLL.

Danicek: You contradict yourself. first you vote for " if you into RPG", and then you say you started your own RPG experience with this game.

Okay comming from the easy gaming FPS world to a complex RPG world is quite a leap and change, and actually I'm impressed how you managed to adapt the deep world of RPG, and that with one of the more complex RPG's for a start. Wizardry 8 is very good in many ways as you yourself state, and it's not only for RPG veterans, but also for gamers comming from other interest areas. Okay some may need more guidance than others to start on, but many stick to the game anyway, because of it's very rich gaming experience. To make it short: I voted for "absolutely" and "Danicek" is my prove that it's for most people, not only RPG fans!

Wthout question.....

About the only gripes against this game are the graphics (actually decent by RPG standards, but probably don't stand up to FPS's) and that combat can get a little drawn out at times. These are very minor issues, but it's about the only complaints of any kind I could think of.

Wiz8 has been one of the best gaming experiences I've had. Ever.

Wiz8 has been THE best RPG I've ever played. While the graphics are not state of the art, they're still impressive. Great sound. Intricate plot and interactions with NPCs. High replayability because of multiple solutions, alliances and depth of character classes (it's impossible to experience every class in one try, and it screams to replay it with some you didn't use or just touched on with an RPC).

The most frustrating things to a non-RPG player: 1) Trying to build the "right" party might require several attempts, as a good balance is more important to newbies than in other RPGs; 2) Learning the subtleties of good combat and spell-casting techniques (your party can be repeatedly fried quickly, otherwise); and 3) Long combat sequences. But having said that, the first two can be overcome somewhat by using "easy" mode. And the third doesn't become a big factor until the Road to Arnika, so that you have a feeling for why it happens when it does. So as an RPG veteran, I think it can still be an appropriate introduction to RPGs for non-RPGamers.

Of course, if you're not an RPGamer and don't have any interest in becoming one, then you shouldn't be looking at Wiz8 to begin with.

In case you couldn't tell, my vote was ABSOLUTELY.
