This has probibly been asked before,
but what the hell is your NAME in gothic?!
at the start diego says 'hello, my name is diego' and u say 'hello my name is..' then diego says 'im not interested in who you are..' bla bla.
do u EVER find out what ur name is in gothic?? |

The idea is it's a ROLE playing game.
Your name is... well... your name, ideally.
"Hi, I'm Homer Simpson."
or one you make up.
"Hi... I'm Rendelius."
The reason they didn't let you CHOOSE a name is because then you'd expect to have it spoken or referred to during the game. Since the main character talks a LOT, and computers aren't great at figuring pronounciation out on their own...
