Enchantments in 1.16a
   

In the patch readme, it says that "Weapons/Armors enchantment has been re-designed". It gives no details, however, and I seem to be unable to enchant armour (I use the modifier on the armour, cast "Enchant Object" on it, it glows the appropriate color but has no new modifiers). Is the redesign merely in the way stats are altered, or does this affect how you do the enchantment as well?

I never saw a difference myself. I only played the previous versions for a week or so, but I think it just let you enchant more weapons that before.

It's more enchantment of armour I'm concerned with, since I can't seem to get it to work.

ToxicFrog, where are those by "modifiers" you refer to? In description or stats screen? Did you check if your enhanced object indeed has bonus properties?

In 1.15 version, if I would enchant a weapon with a bone powder, it would glow but it's description would not change. Only after equiping the weapon, I would see its effect on the stats of my character (strenght increased). Is this the case in 1.16?

I realise that the modifiers only show up on the stat screens, and I have been checking that. Weapons enchant normally (no change in description, but a stat bonus on character screen), but armour appears to enchant (it glows the right color, etc) but has no bonuses.
