of course there will be an update (addon) called "SEQUEL" ! And Gothic 2 is official too! There are no more informations about it.

AAArrrrrgh! I can't wait that long, *sob*. I must have it now.....I think I'd better just play though as a different camp to ease withdrawl symptoms. |

PB didn't released something offical about it yet but they started several threads at the german gothic boards, collecting ideas for an possible addon, a few months ago. Also, a few weeks ago they were searching for beta testers...
However, would be cool to see a sequel of gothic - especially after the disappointing end of gothic. |

it would be cool, if sequel would take place BEFORE Gothic. And you are not you but someone else , for example DIEGO!!!!

Some scripters found this out by analyzing diegos char.
I think Diego is one of 13 mages!!!
There are even more hints ingame that he could it be, but i am too tired to write it down. Think about it playing Gothic
