Gothic 2: Add-On - Review @ GBase.ch (German)

Swiss Gbase has reviewed the 'Gothic II' expansion pack 'Die Nacht des Raben' ('The Night of the Raven') rating the add-on at a straight 90%.

Um, but posting comments in l33t sp34K is, huh?
Well, seriously, even though some of our staff (me included) is German-speaking, we are not actively looking for German news on the web.

We do, however, get news submissions from several German/Swiss gaming sites like GBase, GameCaptain, YiYa, RPG Union & more (like Onlinewelten, MMORPG-Planet.de etc. ... which we are posting on MMORPGDot).
We usually post any and all news submissions, no matter if they are from English, German, French, Spanish, Italian or even Ethiopian sites.

We always try to remember to put the language version of an article in parentheses behind a newsbit's headline when it's not English (the above is a good example since it says "... Review @ GBase (German)". Should make it real easy for everyone to ignore those foreign newsbits.

Finally, it might also be worth pointing out that (as far as I can remember) 60% of our traffic is coming from Europe, 30% North America and 10% rest of the world (this is as of 1.5 years ago but there's no reason to assume that it has changed significantly).
The "German" market (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) is the 2nd or 3rd largest market for video games worldwide. It should therefore be safe to assume that a good number of people who are visiting RPGDot are potentially interested in German language articles.

Still, the no. 1 reason you're seeing foreign language links on here every once in a while is that we get submissions and just post them regardless of how many (or little as a matter of fact) people might be interested in them.

My guess? The day before the Second Coming. It's become a sign of the Apocalypse.
