Just finished! Great stuff. As someone here said before, it's pretty much what I wanted U9 to be.
But in the grand tradition of U9, there seems to be some unexplained stuff still.
Or it could be me.

So:

Ummm......Gorn, Milton and co- where'd they go towards the end of the game? I saw a screen-shot in PC Gamer (British) showing what appeared you all to be working together fighting a troll- a mockup? Would have been cool, all of you banding together to kill the Sleeper.

Also, the screenies on the box. Blokes fighting skeletons and that dude standing on top of the stairs and those three Sect dudes trundling along. More fakes?

I think this is just me, but I missed the connection between killing the Sleeper and removing the barrier.

The point of teleporting back the Old Camp- just to get better armour, was it? Hmmm. I found this bit jarring. Kill everyone and nick off. Nice one.

Ummm......

So what was happening with Xardas and that fire mage letter and the Sect?

...

I think there's more but I can't remember. Probably just nit-picks.

Did anyone else have a problem with these things?

Yes, I had problems with some of them.
End is simply "unsatisfactory".
But what is good is that there is there for big place for sequel (I think end of Gothic 1 is rather begining of Gothic 2 )

I believe those must be pictures from an earlier version, like all those screenies showing Diego (still in his black/blue outfit just like in the comic book) and Gorn in in-game fights.

Yep - a few places where more could have been made of things - I actually found the Sleeper story a lot less interesting than the interaction between the camps, and that fire rune could have led to much more interesting developments...

But you can always write your own Mod...
