Who knows what happens if you give the Letter from "outside" to Xardas its for him anyway, I could do it myself but I already gave the letter to the fire mage.
Thanks

I really don't think you can give it to him. I opened it once, and the letter simply states that the Brotherhood is becoming a threat. Since this is already well-known by the time you meet Xardas, it would be kind of a moot point anyway.

Give it to the Fire Mages, and get the Spirit Potion. If you wait too long, you won't be able to give it to anyone.

The Brotherhood is NOT becoming a threat - how can you say that? In truth, if it were not for the Brotherhood everybody would still be under the magic barrier instead of free (well I suspect most are dead now since our hero likely killed virtually everybody before taking on the Sleeper) .

Hey, if a bunch of guys are invoking an evil arch demon, I'd say that makes them something close to a threat!

hehehehe

Anyway, as a goof, I took the -200 exp and no Torrez reward hit and held off on giving the letter to Fire Mages, thinking that Xardas is gonna pay me BIG TIME for bringing the letter right to him (maybe some modified Heavy Guard armor w00t!!) Well...
Xardas dont even ask for the crusty letter, by the time you get to him, you CANT get back into the Fire Mages
200 exp is no big loss, the +5 to mana that I usually take as reward wasnt too badly missed either.

I always wondered if I could give it to Xardas, glad I never tried.
If you read the letter it is addressed the the High Magician of the Circle of Fire, not Xardas.
Ever tried reading the letter before you hand it over? Do they notice?
