Anachronox: New Unofficial Patch |
|
A new unofficial patch (from a former programmer) for Ion Storm's/Eidos' futuristic single RPG 'Anachronox' can be found at FilePlanet (registration required but free). This is "Build45" and it weighs in at 1.2MB. It updates the "Build44" patch so make sure to grab that one first and work all your way down to "Build1"... j/k . |

patch build 45 was released in May of this year, shortly after build 44. It fixed a few graphical errors, especially some reversed signs in build 44. Joey released it only days after his first release, and he has not released any additional builds since then.
From the planetAnachronox forums:
Topic: Anachronox build 45 ready for download.

OK. So I updated my post of "how to download the second patch" with a new web page address and directions on what to do. Pretty straightforward. I didn't want to make people do all the mirroring stuff again, so I just created a binaries update that will patch Anachronox to fix the backwards signs, but you have to run the build 44 patch first.
No thoughts on the mysterious broken camera, though, seems to work just fine for me. |

I can confirm that this is old news.
I downloaded the build 45 patch on June 3rd from http://www.matrixzero.com/anoxpatch/
...and the build 44 one a little earlier.
May sounds about right for when it was 1st released. |
