Merchant in the old mine goes crazy!

When i reached the first time the old mine i went down to the "room" with the guard (i don't remember the mane) with two chests and the lost key (stolen by the miner who work only if spotted by guards). I fooled him and he goes down to the "barbecue". Then i went down to Ian, this guard talked to me and returned near the chests. Then i take the key and when i returned to the chests and tryed to open, obviously, he didn't want to loose the treasure and attaked me.
Now this is FUN: I was spotted by all the others (Ian, the storekeeper, the guards...) and i became running down in a cloud of arrows.
Antonio (i think is the name of the storekeeper) tryed to follow me and fall all the way down killing himself!!!!! HAHAHA
I looted everything he has...
Now is the problem: please don't tell me that he is a quest or a VIP person! I've gone on with the game...

Don't worry, Antonio only sells stuffs to you. He isn't related to any quests. So just let him rest in peace.
