Quick slots

Nothing happens when I press any of the numbers. When I have the bow on my back, and push the space bar to engage, it goes into fist mode and he will not grab the bow. How do I make him grab the bow? I have also tried contol plus up and that will not engage it either. I try to press number 2 and that does nothing. Is there a problem with Windows XP on the controls?

If you're sure you equipped the bow by using action+up while in the inventory and the small number 2 shows beside it, but nothing happens when you hit the '2' key... you're probably out of arrows. To make the bow work you need arrows in your inventory; if you don't have arrows, your character will not draw the bow. The same goes for crossbows and bolts.
