| Lionheart: Review @ Withingames (German) |
|
Peter Taucher from German gaming site Withingames informed us a little earlier today that they've posted a review of 'Lionheart'. The lukewarm overall reception of the game continues as Withingames rates it at 7.0 out of 10 points. |

I've been playing the original US version for 4 days now and Lionheart is much better than the critics seem to be recieving it.I love the dark-graphics and the story-line and the best is,you never know whats around the next corner. The re-playability is also there because each faction that you chose has different quests. All in all,a almost great game, well worth buying. |

let me guess you didnt leave barcelona yet, because up to this point the game is not bad ,but after you leave barcelona it turns out to be pure hack and slash dungeon after dungeon with no town the same boring enemys over and over again .after that you will hate the game as i did because it starts so good and the ending is a bad joke. |

Methusela, you can't be past Montserrat yet and still rate this game highly.
Replayability is very minimal, because 90% of the quests overlap one another. Your reason for going to dungeon X and killing everything varies for the different factions, but you go to the exact same places with every character. Lionheart is a great 15 hours of a game, then it becomes completely monotonous and combat ramps up about 400% after
Montserrat. If Lionheart was totally designed as well as the Barcelona area, the game might win RPG of the year. As it is though, it's basically time-filler til Greyhawk is released, nothing more. _________________ 'nut |
