If you will buy it somewhere where you can return it, then try it. If not - do it not (probably only if you dont mind lowest details and still not smooth experience). |

I have, maybe, 65 screenshots taken in-game so far. 80% of them have to include the water in some way. It is just to die for and worth buying a GeForce 3 card. I have my screenies as a slideshow on my screen saver. |

bleh! Go get it.. NOW!
I have a celeron 600, 128 meg ram with voodoo 4500. (32 meg)
And the game runs really smooth (both exterior and interior) at 800x600 resolution with view distance set about 1/4 to 1/2 of maximum value.
PS: I'm using a safe disk removed executable, and it helps a lot (running win98SE) |

Invoker: No kidding? I have a p3 450 (with cache, so comparable with 600 celeron) 128 mb and tnt2, so it should work here too! joy! |

Yeah it's true I didn't expect it to run much, but had to try. To my surprise it runs good enough that i don't feel the need to upgrade any single thing in my computer for this game.
Yeah you won't see those spectacular effects and will have to settle for low detail settings, but graphics detail is not what this game is about. (eh, at least for me) And it's very playable
PS: All those high end system owners complaining about performance usually suffer from bad graphics drivers. And make sure you get the Safe disk removed cracked exe. |
