Ta-Da! I finally finished the game.

Well, all in all it was a pretty good trip. It took a while; but I finally finished the game. The endings are allways anti-climatic though, as was this one. I don't think I can recall any game that had an ending worthy of the hours required to get to that point.
Now friends, comes the question, what game next. I have Might and Magic IX, Dungeon Seige, and Morrowind all loaded up and ready to go. Decisions, decisions.. Any suggestions on what game next?

lets play dungeon siege together... its a great mutliplayer game, but... gets old, in single player... so i reserve it for multiplayer only. im STILL playing morrowind.... its sooo great... thats a good game for you to try...

Congrats Max!
Unfortunately I haven't played any of those either, so I can't give you advice on this.

M&M IX is nice, but not so nice as Wizardry is.
DS is simple hack and slash game without story, so it could be nice change after complexity of Wizardry...
Morrowind, I think it is simly best from all games you wrote about, so you should play it last :].

Congratulations Max! I haven't played any of the games you mentioned, so I can't give you any advice there.

I don't have enough PC power to play Morrowind yet. I haven't been in the mood for a mindless hack-n-slash, so I don't own DS yet. I bought MM9 and fired it up after winning Wiz8 the first time. I'm a longtime MM fan, so perhaps my expectations were too high. I also got caught by a horrible bug (Anskram Keep, there's threads about avoiding the problem in the MM board). After about 30 hours, I fired up Wiz8 again. I recently hit the wall with Wiz8 (other than the time with MM9, I've played nothing else since Wiz8 was released, and I finished the demo 6 times to boot), and now I've fired up Deus Ex- hoping to finish it this time.

To answer your question, I agree with the earlier opinion that you go with DS next. It should be a good change of pace from Wiz8, and the single player "campaign" won't tie you up overly long from what I've heard.

BTW Max, which ending did you choose? I'm curious if you disarmed the bomb or not (but I assume you did), since we discussed that in another thread.

I disarmed the bomb, and for the final ending I tore the page from the book

Btw.
we hope we will see you more here, on forums. Some people asked where you are. Val answered that you are playing Wizardry... Now you are finished.
I am glad that you did and that i did not give it up after first not good experience with Martens Bluff.

Havn't played Dungeon Siege can't get into Morrowind but enjoyed MM9 a lot (if not as much as 3,4,5,6,7or8). Played it after finishing Wiz8 in fact
