| Getting dropped to desktop every time i try to equip chainBP |
|
I just got a chain tunic and every time i try to equip it i get droped to desktop. i upgraded my sound and video drivers, also shut off acceleration on sound card. im usin a geforce 3 and a SB live value.  |

Stop that you could go blind. 
Change locations before you try to equip it, if it crashes outside go into a house and try to equip it, or inside to outside.
Or try wearing a robe when you equip the armor, perhaps crash is from the sudden model changing. If you wear a robe perhaps it will help.
Hmm, there have been a few items causing this type of crash, i'd expect a patch for this soon. |

Oh, is this the chain in Peliagad?
This was buggy in the beta, too. Look at it's health stats when you buy it and when you equip it - it seems broken.
Solution: don't buy THIS chain

Yes it is the chain from peliagad. Thank you so much for this info, i was realy upset i couldnt raise my medium armor skill. guess its time to leave this bugy little town.  |

wow, same exact thing happens to me! in that peliag town or whatever, no matter where i'm at when i try to equip that armor it shuts down!! SO ANNOYING |

I had the exact same problem as well.  That's okay though, I just kept my old medium chain armor instead (rating not as high, but at least it's playable!)
Now I'm in Balmora... good heavens this game is incredible! |

BTW - this bug could be easily fixed with the editor - so it would be a cool next user made mod *g*
