I have solved the game as a supreme warrior, and now I wonder if I should try to play a mage. However, I wonder, how powerful is a mage? Can you solve the game without putting points on strength/dexterity?

10+15+20+25+30+40

I count it to about 14 levels to reicive the 6th level magic, but ofcourse its neccessary to have at least picklock basic to get anywhere, so make that level 15.

What is the quickest way to gain a "magicuser" title? Firemages or Watermages?
I heard that you cannot reach level 5 if you are in the sect...

Best Regards

I too have beaten the game as a supreme warrior. I was a mecenery with max out 1H Sword skill, 2H Sword skill, Bow skill and Zero magic.

I want to be able to use some sword and lots of magic. Templars are cool looking but can't get past circle 4, and that sucks. Dunno, probably play a OC'er then. OC has a twist, so it would be cool to see how it turns out.

After testing it out I have to disagree.

The combination wave of ice + firestorm does the trick very good.
2h weapons costs more than I can afford as a mage. =)

After reaching level 4 a Mage is verty competent. =o)

I did the same, except I maxed crossbow instead.
I had a base strength (unboosted) of 104, and 100 in dex =)

Put the final points in recaching level 3 in magic, but never used magic.
I didnt have anything else to put points on

I will probably play an OC'er with maxed-out 1H sword skill and maxed-out magic and mana.
