| Finding hostile mudcrabs... |

Can anyone give me better directions to find Drulene's hut to kill mudcrabs for 1st house Redoran quest given in Ald'Ruhn please?
I keep walking past a guy near naked who talks about "Damned Witches". Am I anywhere near where I'm supposed to be?

There is a road a little south of Drulene's camp that has signs at a junction. Go west from the signs toward Gnaar Mok and keep going west past a swamp. You will run right into the hostile crabs. Hope this helps

I can't find the camp to go south. I keep walking around in circles ending up passing a guy who keeps talking about "damned witches".
Am I close or on the wrong road?

Assuming the barbarian you met is Hlormar (there are several in the game, all complaining about witches), you're not too close. The guar ranch is nearly due west of the south edge of Ald'ruhn. The easiest way to find it in my opinion is to head straight west from there, ignoring the roads. From Hlormar, you'll want to travel north-west, but the road branches several times so it's hard to be precise.
Try this: on your paper map, you'll see a valley on the coast containing a Dunmer stronghold called Andraseth. Drulene is just outside that valley, near where the road enters it from the East.
This is a hard one -- I've done this quest twice and got lost both times! |

Ok I've killed the mudcrabs but now I can't find Drulene's camp!

Assuming you killed the right mudcrabs(they would have been guarding a dead guar near a small swamp), go east along the north side of the swamp and take the road east. The road is the one coming up from Gnaar Mok. Keep going east till you come to a set of roadsigns and a road going south. The road south leads to a tomb you'll probably find yourself visiting later for the Redoran folks. Just east of this junction, head north cross country till you're on an east-west path. Head west on this path and you will soon see the TAME guars and Drulene Falen.
I had a TERRIBLE time finding this the first time too  Good Luck

Bigfoot,
I did everything opposite of your directions and I found Drulene 
The easier directions are to head cross country in the opposite direction of the south road (at the intersection) that had the tomb at the end until you find the road then turn right where you can see lots of guars.
Thanks for all your help. It was really needed & appreciated
I hope I never have to do that quest again! |
