I thought, once you beat him up, he disappears. |

Mud was one of my favorite parts of gothic.
I liked the line
" So what are you in for? Was it being with animals?"
Or something like that. LOL.
You know on second thought I just re read this question, and I am suprised also.
I would bet that you are one of the very few gothic players in the entire world that got mud to follow them all the way to the sect camp. I think that would be a challenge in and of itself.
And somehow get the other fraidy guy to join you also ( somehow getting mud past the swamp sharks lol.) |

I've actually tried killing him a couple of times, but after I do the game becomes VERY unstable, crashing to desktop every time I try to close a chest I've opened.
Anyone else have this problem |

No, I never had that problem. Maybe you should load a saved game from before you killed mud. |

That's what I finally did. Killed him the second time just to see if that was in fact the reason for the crashes. |

Mud ( What an appropriate Name) |
|
I killed the little sucker one time and then just left him beaten and abused the next. A sadistic thing to walk by and not talk to the poor little guy. But he earned his own fate. _________________ =Member of the Nonflamers Guild=

Not with me, i didnt ever kill him or incapacitate him because every time he takes off running and i leave him be for a while. Each time he goes back to his little hut eventually. |
