I find it truly amazing that I can be sitting here in my house in the United States and ask or answer a question from somebody in Estonia, Finland, Germany, Czech Republic, and so on and so. Like the game, this forum is pretty good.

Sure its cool man i am from Estonia  hehehe and i registered in that forum becose i dont know anymore what to do i finished Gothic and now i am looking for games that looks like Gothic |

And can't they get rid of that annoying pop up message that I (and some others) get when I first login here??

It is advertisement. I suppose that they need money to pay everything that is connected with running this page... It is normal and it is all right.

Yes, it is advertisment. It helps us to pay the server. It doesn't cover all our costs, but it really helps.
In case you don't know: this is a private site. Paid out of my pocket. No pay for the work, and I can't pay those working with me. We need bigger and bigger (and thus more expensive) servers to keep it fast and responsive. I'll dish out more than 800$ this month. I am glad our popunders pay 50$ of it

yeah , that's for sure...nice folks..no people that diss the game..would be hard too anyway:) such a amazing game... i had this guy replying on my topic on a dutch game forum , i wrote a gigantic big story about what gothic's all about..and he replied..yeah..well i heard it has TOO much bugs and shit like that...man every damn game has it's bugs...why can't those people see how amazing this game is..it's sad that alot of folks only talk about how good a diablo2 or baldurs gate is...and when i start a topic about gothic almost nobody replies or cares..oh well..for that this forum exists |
